KEEP OUR PARK GREEN & CLEAN
We love our four-legged friends but for the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests, today they need to stay home. Park rules state that no dogs are allowed. We are thankful to have such a beautiful park to hold our festival. Please do your part to help keep it clean.
The Festival will start at 10:00 am and will end around 8:00 pm after the final musical act. Please note that most festival activities will end at 6 so everyone can focus on the headliner taking the stage at 6:30 pm.
This is an outdoor event, held in a natural setting. Wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs are welcome. Pathways vary from grass and dirt to concrete. Handicap parking will be available near the entrance of the park.
How Much Does the Festival Cost?
The Cowpea festival is free to enter but you may want to bring cash for the food and craft vendors and some activities in the children's area that cost money. There is not an ATM on site so make sure you have cash with you.
The International Cowpea Festival and Cook-off can't happen without many dedicated volunteers. We are grateful to those willing to donate their time to provide a quality, family experience for our community.
Volunteering can be an excellent project for individuals as well as school groups, youth groups, church groups, service clubs, etc. We welcome the opportunity to work with you. If you have any questions about volunteering please contact Sherry Crye at or call (423)472-6587.
